Murad Musaev, the head coach of Krasnodar, delivered a critical review of his team’s performance following their 2-1 loss to Dynamo Moscow in the 29th round of the Russian Premier League. He specifically pointed out the defensive lapses that led to the goals conceded.
“We need to understand that it’s unacceptable to play the way we did when we let in those goals. You can’t do that in a match that matters for the title race. We’ll analyze the game; there are still two matches left. We have slim hopes for the championship, and also the Cup final,” Musaev said, as reported by Championship correspondent Andrey Pankov.
After this fixture, Dynamo Moscow sit in eighth place with 42 points, while Krasnodar hold second place with 63 points. Zenit lead the table with 65 points.
